Hyperbole Literary Term
Hyperbole is the use of exaggeration as a rhetorical device or figure of speech in which there is an obvious, extravagant or overstatement.
For example
- I am so hungry I could eat a horse.
- Ten thousand saw I at a glance.
- I have a million things to do today.
- He's got tons of money.
- I am tired to death.
- I've told you to do that a million times!
